About us
A jazz club that happens to float.
Chicago Jazz Cruises pairs the city’s architecture with the music that grew up alongside it. Each sailing carries a live trio or quartet, a small bar, and room to sit back as the skyline slides past.
Our musicians come from the clubs of the South Side, Uptown and the Loop. Our captains know every bridge on the river by name. Together they make an evening that feels less like a tour and more like a night out with the best seat in the city.
Why we sail
Jazz was made for rooms where people lean in. We think a boat at dusk is one of those rooms. Our mission is simple: put great Chicago players in front of a small audience, keep the sets honest and the drinks cold, and let the city do the rest of the staging.
